Spironolactone og akne

Spironolactone blocks the androgen receptors and is a treatment that rarely assessed for acne in women. A study from 2015 looks at the need to monitor these patients with blood tests. In the study, there was no increased incidence of hyperkalemia in women between 18-45 years. Explore Erne concludes that monitoring of potassium values ??are not required. They point out, however, that specific patient groups with renal failure, kidney disease or other disorders should be monitored with regular blood tests.
